Foraging for and eating wild eggs are demonstrated. one of the least discussed survival skills, but foraging for eggs is a skill that i proudly teach. (thanks McGuireink) for the wild egg and buckweat breakfast. i hope to inspire everyone toward useing this incredible and tasty wild food resource.
The Bacon and Eggs meal was delicious! I scarfed it down and it was a good amount of food, too. Check out their website: www.mountainhouse.com There is a ton of information out there on various options for emergency food, canned, dehydrated, freeze dried, it's all about finding what will work for you. You make hate freeze dried. I dig it. Believe it or not, the food tastes pretty darn good and it can even seem fresh. Better than all of this, learn to be self-sustaining and self-reliant with by growing, preserving and preparing things yourself. Well until we can get to that stage, this stuff rocks.
www.raymears.com Ray Mears demonstrates a simple method of creating a quick and easy pot hanger when cooking outdoors. This clip was taken from the DVD extras of Ray Mears Wild Food.
